Now That's a BBQ!
 

 

Southside Johnny’s BBQ Shwimps - N’Awlins Style

4 slices bacon - chopped
1 tsp Williams Chili Seasoning
½ tsp chipotle powder
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1 Tbsp Zatarains liquid crab boil
2 sticks real butter
6-5 splashes Tabasco Habanero Sauce
¼ tsp each ~ basil, oregano & thyme leaf
2 Tbsp Zatarains coonass mustard
3-2 fresh garlic cloves, minced
2 green onions, sliced thin
1 ½ - 2# headless tiger shrimp, shell & tail on
Lemon wedges
 
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375*

In skillet, fry bacon pieces...then add all other ingredients except shwimps
& lemon wedges. Let simmer for a few minutes. Arrange shwimps in large
casserole dish & pour sauce over. Mix it up, so all shwimps is well coated
with the sauce. Bake in 375* oven for about 15-20 minutes, stirring at the
10 & 15 minute intervels. Serve HOT...with lemon wedges & crusty French
bread for dippin in the sauce.
